Week off...

Hi, I have this week off from baking and have decided to create a playroom for my two girls.

I can't actually start the room as we have a guest but I can start shopping for the room, Wahoo!

I want to make a dress up area for them to use so am off to Ikea today for the ingredients to get me started.

This is the room that will be transformed.

looks like hell on earth doesn't it!

Luckily the bathroom has already been done and doesn't look at all like that anymore, this photo was taken the day we moved in.

The room is currently used as a guest room and has to keep that function but I also want it to be a playroom when its not occupied by guests.

Any suggestions welcome!

Busy Week

Wow! I have been busy since my last blog update.

I have made a 3 tiered wedding cake with 70 cupcakes a batch of 1st birthday cupcakes with a monkey cupcake for the dad LOL! and a Super Mario Bros cake for a friends little boy.....

I have also been busy getting jobs finished and started around the house.

I am creating a playhouse for my two girls at the bottom the garden. I aquired it from a friend who was moving and didn't want to take it with her, it was in a bit of a state and rotting in places so my H an I have had to replace quite a bit, I will write a seperate post on that and post some piccies.

I am also planning a playroom/guest room for rainy days which I am very excited about. will keep you posted.

Coffee & walnut cakes

Hi,

while I am getting to grips with a few new things in my life, blogging and photoshop, I thought I would share a piccie of some cupcakes I made recently.

Me and the girls love a nice cuppa and what could be better than a lovely cupcake to go with it mmm.

First Post.....

Wow! this is my first ever post on my very own blog, GO ME!

This week I am blogging, and trying to get to grips with how to work it.

I also have a wedding cake to make for a friend she wants a 3 tiered cake with green ribbon and silver hearts, she has also asked for 70 cupcakes so I am very much looking forward to getting started and sharing the finished product on my new Blog.
